WordPress UPgrade BreakDOWN
I just did the automatic wordpress upgrade and now my posting window shows only html, won’t allow me to post links or photos or do practically anything else I can usually do! Yesterday I couldn’t reply to comments, but today I mysteriously can. So, it’s off to call tech support. In the meantime, if anyone has any suggestions . . .
Man, oh man. I have found Wordpress to be nothing short of a nightmare. I started using it so that readers could leave comments. I have this silly wild eyed notion that the internet can provide a venue for conversation. Hah. I am seriously considering abandoning Wordpress soon and return to building my web site from scratch since I found that my URL host (for which I pay) provides a DIY interface.
Today, it seems to be letting me reply. I’m debating whether to just switch to facebook, which I have to keep anyhow. But I like what blogs can do. Could do. I’m not giving up yet!
Still can’t post a new entry except in HTML. I’m too old for that!
