I write the Lambda Award-winning mystery series from Bella Books featuring soccer-playing priest Lonnie Squires.  WHACKED (December 2008) won the Lambda Literary Award for best lesbian mystery.  TOASTED, the second book in the series, was a 2009 Lambda finalist.  DITCHED became available in April 2010.

I have been publishing and teaching writing for nearly twenty years.  I am also a certified master dog trainer and have taken several of my German Shepherds to a local hospital, kindergarten classes, and adult care centers.

I live in the midwestern woods with my partner, two dogs, two cats, and a lot of wild turkeys and deer.  When not writing I practice cartooning, drums, kayaks, and teaching myself something new that involves the purchase of “gear.”  That probably proves that purchasing “gear” is my favorite pastime!
